Section

Sections are used to control user access to Willow on a functional level. A user can belong to multiple sections, and thus be awarded multiple access rights.

Sections are unaware of the nature of the data for which they are restricting access. You could think of them as "cross-sections" of the data, hence the name.

Sections control user access at the display and action levels. So you can create sections for which users can view tasks, but not edit them.

Sections may have an admin or tech attribute set. The exact use of these attributes is hard coded within Willow. Basically, admininistrators have unrestricted access to system and user information, and technicians have unrestricted access to task and faq information. Subject to departmental restrictions, depending on the system configuration.

See the documentation for more information.
