Select a product from the list to view only items associated with that product. If the product is versioned, then the version menus will be populated with that product's version information, in which you can further refine your filter. From a Willow standpoint, a product is just a thing that you can associate with tasks or faqs. Products may sometimes be marked as obsolete. You cannot add tasks for obsolete products. Products may also have versions. If a product is versioned, then you may be required to specify a fixed-in version when marking tasks as completed. The "product" doesn't have to be a real product. You can create products such as Generic or Miscellaneous so you can use Willow to handle generic or miscellaneous faqs and tasks. Do note, however, that Willow Issue Tracker is oriented towards software development. If you have large numbers of generic tasks, and they are largely unrelated to software development, then consider using Willow Job Tracker or some other product for those items. |
