You can cause your filter to accept only tasks containing specified words in the Functional Area field of the task record.

Click exact match to cause the filter to accept tasks whose Functional Area is exactly equal to the text you enter.

Click match to cause the filter to accept tasks whose Functional Area contains the text you enter.

This restriction is not case-sensitive.
